hi!

I am Tye, or Tyecar online. I have worked in the Minecraft space for 5+ years and have played since 2014.

Growing up, Minecraft servers and videos shaped my childhood. Creators like Vikkstar123 and servers like Hypixel and Mineplex showed me what you can create in Minecraft.

Being able to now shape players' experiences through servers myself, I hope my work inspires others the same way theirs inspired me to learn, build, and explore what your passion is.

I got into creating on Minecraft through Hypixel Skyblock. Their rapid approach to updates and creativity to build things never seen before was a big inspiration. I was able to start contributing to Skyblock through their internal invite Discord called SkyBlock Nerds.

Through this channel, I met some of my closest friends and learned how to design, create, and test within Minecraft's limitations.

As Minecraft grew again in 2021, I moved to producing movie-style, story-driven videos with Speedsilver on YouTube. These videos strayed from the status quo by focusing on player creativity and letting people build their own storylines in our custom world.

During this time, we also created Hoplite, a Java Minecraft battle royale server based on the YouTube content. This server now sits in the top 10 Java servers with around 2,000 CCU.

Moving forward, I am looking to join a passionate team that shares my values and wants to create meaningful experiences for the next generation of Minecraft players.
